Alliance Participation

The National Melanoma Alliance addresses melanoma-related issues on a national level, while providing a coordinated network to support local and regional activities.

Recognizing the diverse nature of the organizations that share our advocacy agenda, the Alliance offers two categories of participation:

• Full Participant — Organization must be a 501(c) 3 nonprofit and have a specific melanoma or skin cancer focus articulated in its mission statement or bylaws. Full Participants are eligible for leadership positions within the organization and to serve on committees and in working groups.
• Supporter — The Alliance welcomes Supporter organizations, institutions (nonprofit groups, academic centers or programs, professional societies, community medical practices, and other groups), and companies that have an interest in propelling its mission. Supporters benefit from regular updates on Alliance activities and participation in selected Alliance activities.
